Zawady Oleckie [zaˈvadɨ ɔˈlɛt͡skʲɛ] (German Sawadden) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Kowale Oleckie, 17 km (11 mi) north-west of Olecko, and 123 km (76 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
